TEAMHEALTH

Discover how our not for profit web design Perth team transformed TeamHEALTH's digital presence, achieving 48% traffic growth and empowering mental health services across the Northern Territory.

Empower mental health support through
accessible digital connection

TeamHEALTH stands as the Northern Territory's leading mental health support organisation, delivering vital services across youth, families, adults, aged care, and Indigenous communities. Their digital presence, however, wasn't reflecting the dynamic, expanding nature of their work. The 2017 website was ready for transformation – presenting an exciting opportunity to amplify their mission through modern digital capabilities.

The organisation recognised the potential to reach vulnerable community members more effectively, showcase their unique "Two Ways" Indigenous approach, and empower staff with self-managed content capabilities. With diverse audiences seeking support – from young people to elders, families to professionals – the opportunity was clear: create a welcoming digital gateway that connects people to life-changing services.

Lab 385 saw the chance to build more than a website – to craft a comprehensive digital platform that would position TeamHEALTH as a trusted, modern leader in mental health services. This meant reimagining information architecture, embracing accessibility standards, and creating pathways that guide visitors seamlessly towards the support they need.

Dramatic growth in community reach and engagement. Within months of launch, organic search impressions jumped from 42,000 to 48,000 monthly, while click-throughs nearly doubled from 675 to over 1,000. This surge in visibility means more people in the Northern Territory are finding the mental health support they need, exactly when they need it most.
Elevated organisational standing and internal pride. The new platform positions TeamHEALTH alongside much larger national organisations in terms of digital sophistication. Board members and stakeholders have praised the professional presence, while staff report newfound pride in directing people to their website. The platform has become a powerful tool for building trust and credibility in the community.

TeamHEALTH's staff now manage their digital presence with confidence, publishing updates, launching campaigns, and responding to community needs in real-time. The live chat feature has opened new pathways for younger users seeking support, while online booking capabilities streamline service delivery. As the organisation noted, the investment was "absolutely worth it" – not just for external impact, but for the internal clarity and capability it created. The platform now evolves alongside TeamHEALTH's mission, ready to support whatever opportunities lie ahead.
